OUR PURPOSE
To help organisations create and sustain inclusive and equitable workplaces where everyone can thrive regardless of gender, race, or any dimension of diversity they possess.
The past 2 years have been tough for everyone, and if Covid-19 has taught us anything, it’s that we all must value this life we live, and equally important, the lives of others. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is not a “hot topic” that’s going to pass with time or be replaced by something. It’s lived experience, it’s creating a sense of belonging for the people in your organisation, and most importantly it’s about learning from those who have experienced things differently to us.We want to keep it light in this first Newsletter, as a simple introduction and welcome for what’s to come. We want this medium to be one that is shaped by you and what you want to read about, so we would really appreciate if you could take less than a minute out of your day to answer the one question
in this survey about what you’d like to see.At PhoenixRize, we pride ourselves on creating and sharing the best resources to help organisations with their DEI strategies and goals. We created an extensive (but not quite exhaustive) list of DEI Terms and Definitions. A resource that will be ever evolving, but one that helps build a foundation for understanding more in the world of DEI. Check it out, share it around, and let us know what you think of it!
