Lay the foundation
No building is sturdy without a solid foundation. This is the same with DEI. This course provides participants with the introductory knowledge to open the conversation.
Build the bricks
It’s time to build the walls. This course moves past the introduction to address specific concepts within the conversation in strategic depth, fostering inspiration and understanding.
Open the doors
Conversation. Understanding. Empowerment. This course is designed to amalgamate the topics explored to inspire future conversations and actions towards shared empowerment.

These courses look at laying the foundation around DEI topics and providing participants with introductory knowledge
This workshop is designed around the concept of awareness. Through reflection forward modules, participants are encouraged to increase their perception of a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. This allows recognition and management of behaviours to work with management in a mission to create positive actions and company culture. This ultimately manifests in a self created plan of action to help apply the learned strategies outlined in this course.

Built upon the principles of interactive learning, participants are motivated to understand what unconscious bias is and how it manifests in the workplace. Participants will learn to challenge messages and language that reinforce unconscious bias, aiming to enable participants to reflect on how experience and privilege shape our outlook. This is supported by our tool box of applicable strategies and methods to understand, mitigate and prevent unconscious bias in the workplace.
Participants will
- Conceptually explore unconscious bias manifestations in decision making, collaboration and the workplace.
- Understand the concept, types of unconscious bias and how it manifests in the decision making, workplace interactions etc
- Challenge messages and language which many unintentionally reinforce unconscious bias
- Reflect on how our identities, experiences and privileges shape our biases
- Actively pursue strategies and behaviours that mitigate personal and organisational bias
Research shows that continued exposure to microaggressions in the workplace causes decreased performance, heightened stress and a loss of confidence and well-being. This course allows participants to explore how to identify and address microaggressions – every day, subtle, intentional and unintentional actions or behaviours that perpetuate bias toward racially marginalised groups in the workplace. Through actionable steps participants can learn to deal with microaggressions in real time.
Participants will
- Understand the meaning and types of microaggressions
- Recognise the common occurrences and negative impact of microaggressions
- Discover actionable steps to minimise the occurrence of microaggressions and ways to appropriately challenge microaggressions that we witness, experience or commit
Build the Bricks
These courses build upon foundational knowledge to delve into specific DEI topics
Aimed to assist in an organisation’s ability to tackle racism, this course empowers participants with methods and strategies to keep the workplace inclusive. This allows for subtle patterns to be identified and corrected through shared language and a clearer understanding of the negative impact of inequality. With the adoption of antiracist methodology and rhetoric your organisation is better equipped to create a more inclusive environment.
Participant Will:
- Understand the complexity and intersectionality of race, gender, class, ability and other identities and their accompanying power or lack of power.
- Understand the construction of race & institutional racism within the workplace
- Understand the different dimensions of racism and how they can act together toreinforce inequalities.
- Recognise how white supremacy culture operates and manifests in workplacepractice, policies and procedures.
- Know how to apply an anti-racism framework to your work.
Using a self-assessment as the starting point, this workshop is designed to help participants better understand the importance of cultural competence. This is taught through practical techniques for communicating between cultures so that the unique and diverse needs of an organisation can be met.

Open the Doors
These courses look at providing tools and knowledge that participants can take-away to empower others
This workshop teaches everyday techniques participants can use to make their workplace more inclusive. This workshop teaches people how to recognize whenthey have power and influence—when they can best act as an ally—and how totake effective action to make their workplace better. Participants learn ally skills bypracticing them in discussion groups and set a specific goal for their future ally work.
Participant will:
- Understand the concept of allyship in the workplace
- Recognise how allyship ties into diversity and inclusion at work
- Identify own power, privilege, and influence
- Learn strategies on how to become an effective ally
Building an inclusive workspace is not always easy. This course provides the tools to foster inclusivity with every decision that is made. More specifically it is designed to assist managers and decision makers develop and incorporate key leadership diversity and inclusion skills involved in interviews, delegation, communication, feedback and meetings.
Participant will:
- Explore inclusive leadership and the key competencies required for leading a diverse team
- Understand diversity & inclusion as a business imperative
- Explore the role of leaders role in leveraging diversity and inclusion and the keycompetencies required for leading a diverse team
- Learn to recognise inclusive behaviours and how they enhance businessobjectives
- Develop leadership skills that support an inclusive workplace
Using personalised insights of the DiSC® assessment, this course aims to engage every employee—regardless of title or position, department, or function—in building more productive and effective relationships at work. Combining facilitated virtual training with online pre-work and follow-up tools, participants gain a personalised learning experience to help them understand and appreciate the different priorities, preferences, and values each individual brings to the workplace, and how they can learn to adapt to the style of others. The result is a more inclusive, engaged and collaborative culture that improves the overall quality of the workplace

Please note that this workshop requires participants to take personalized assessments before commencement to discover their DiSC® style. The workshop runs for 3 days x 1.5hrs/day.
